Blackfoot

Greg T. Walker
Greg T. Walker, bassist, vocals and multi instrumentalist assembled childhood friends to form Blackfoot in 1969. His first "play for pay" group at age ten included two of those members. From that moment forward there was never any doubt as to what he would do when he 'grew up'.
Although Blackfoot has always remained the "constant" in Greg T.'s life, he has earned additional Gold and Platinum with other artists and his work can be heard on many CD's besides those with Blackfoot. He has written and recorded commercials and received an OBIE nomination. His solo project gained immediate success in the Native American community when his own band, NDN, released their acclaimed CD "Warrior's Pride", garnering nominations in four categories from the Native American Music Awards (NAMA). Greg T. co-wrote all songs, sang lead vocals and co-produced the entire CD.
Muskogee Creek from the Florida Tribe of Eastern Creek Indians, Greg T. enjoys making traditional crafts and jewelry, primitive bow hunting (makes his own bows and arrows), and fishing. When time allows, he loves spending time on ancestral lands in Northern Florida with family and friends, riding down the Suwannee River, cooking over an open fire and pursuing his other passion....Horses.

Michael Sollars
Michael Sollars has always had BIG Rock-n-Roll and musical dreams, which he has been blessed to be able to pursue. Born in Wilmington, Ohio in 1966, Michael benefited from a great public school music program, which motivated him to study jazz at The Hartford Conservatory in 1985, and along with Denny Blake (Helix, Movin’ Out), and Johnny April (Staind), he formed New England Rock Favorites MANIAX then MOSTLY HOLY. In the mid-90’s, Michael funked up the Boston circuit with THROAT CULTURE, and shared the stage BO DIDDLEY, LENNY KRAVITZ, LA GUNS and JOHNNY WINTER.
The shades of “gray” of New England eventually appeared to Michael in sharp contrast to the colorful culture of the southern U.S., and it was on a tour with blues great ED VADAS and the FABULOUS HEAVYWEIGHTS that he fell in love with New Orleans, and decided to move there in 1997. Finding it a “great town to be poor in”, he quickly got a heavy dose of unique music and famous hospitality, performing with WILLIE JAY and the TEXAS TORNADOES, MARVA WRIGHT, BENNY TURNER, and IRMA THOMAS. Michael soon became the “On Call” drummer for a list of who’s who bands in the New Orleans area, and for the last eight years has stayed on the top of his game by nightly gigs on Bourbon Street. Michael has been a fan of BLACKFOOT for as long as he has played the drums…he is honored to help the boys achieve that quintessential, MEGA-STOMPIN’, HARD-LOVIN’, PILE-DRIVIN’, ABSOLUTELY ROCKIN’ BLACKFOOT show every night!

Charlie Hargrett
Guitarist Charlie Hargrett is a founding member of Blackfoot, and played lead guitar in the band from 1969 to 1984.
His guitar work can be heard on the Blackfoot albums "No Reservations" (1975), "Flying High" (1976), "Blackfoot Strikes" (1979), "Tomcattin' " (1980), "Marauder" (1981), "Highway Song Live" (1982), "Siogo" (1983), "King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents Blackfoot live, 1983" (released 1998), and more.
If you expect great, powerful Southern Rock, Charlie Hargrett won't disappoint you. He's better than ever!

Bobby Barth
Bobby Barth is the singer, lead guitarist, writer and founding member of MCA / Atlantic recording artists Axe. His released recordings span over 5 decades, starting with "Wakefield" in 1969 up to the release of "The Crown" in April of 2002.
His long time friendship and songwriting relationship with Blackfoot made him the logical choice to fill the lead guitar slot in the 80's when Charlie Hargrett left the band. Bobby was involved with the recording and writing for SIOGO and Vertical smiles and continued on for one and a half years with one of the original members.
Outside of Blackfoot, Bobbys credentials are impressive. In addition to his work with Blackfoot he has eight Axe albums as a singer and guitarist and over forty other label records as guitarist, singer and / or producer. He has over 120 major label writing credits.
Bobby resides in the "Garden District" of New Orleans, where on his limited off time he pursues his hobby of traditional 1930s-40's style slide guitar and is active helping rebuild the music community post "Katrina".
